Weekly Focus: Close to the edge – againDanske Bank
No circuit breaker in sight, debt crisis expected to worsen before it improves. We expect the ECB to cut the interest rate 0.25% on Wednesday. Bernanke’s testimony to congress could provide more colour on QE debate. Chinese service PMI is the main release in Asia. Japan’s Q1 GDP is expected to be revised up to 4.5% from 4.1%. More independent Danish rate cuts expected over the summer.
